The situation
- The legacy platform mixed Angular, MVC and jQuery on WCF services.
- Eberl wanted to retire its Xamarin app and use one app on the web, tablets and phones.
- There was no SLA-driven adjuster workflow, and the EDI process was legacy.
- XactAnalysis IDs needed cleanup, testing was manual and documentation was thin.
What we did
Adjuster mobile app
We helped build the Angular and Ionic adjuster app. It went to production in December 2021 and to the app stores in May 2022.
SLA and EDI processing
We added claim status and SLA calculation, and a new EDI ingestion process for real-time incremental SLA updates.
Clean claim data
We cleaned up and validated XactAnalysis IDs, so adjusters can work without going into XactAnalysis.
New API endpoints
New endpoints unblocked more than 10 features, including claim inventory, claim details, notes, dashboards and notifications.
Automated testing
We added Cypress and Jest tests and NgRx state management, and trained Eberl's offshore team on Cypress.
The result
- The mobile app was released to the Apple App Store and Google Play in May 2022.
- Eberl renewed the engagement three times, through December 2023.
- Client NPS rose from 8 in March 2022 to 10 in May 2023.
- After our knowledge transfer, a new XactAnalysis hire began working on stories in less than three weeks.
